This is about my writing. We are learning about Onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia is a word that describes a sound. I wrote a story from this video. This is the video I watched.

I walked on to the track. It is race-day. I stood there and I knew there was no way back. We all lined up on the curved starting line. We all the waited for the starting gun. All of a sudden the gun popped and we started.The wind is crackling in my ears as I run, “Crackle”. I can hear the sound of footsteps thumping, “thump thump thump”. The first few laps I was behind a bunch of people, but I started to run in front of them, and I got first place. I felt like nothing could stop me now, but then a boy in grey ran in front of me. I tried to get him to back first but ...
