Hi everybody
This blog post is about a summer learning journey activity. You're probably wondering what is the learn summer learning journey? The Summer learning journey is a big over the summer holidays where children use a blog to learn and keep the reading and writing skills up.
The activity I did is a remake of a painting. Here is my work.
Kia Ora Riley,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
You’ve done a gorgeous job painting these flowers. They look so bright and lively, especially in contrast to the original painting. The pink you’ve used is beautiful and makes the flowers all pop against the green background and vase. It looks phenomenal! I also like how the background of your painting matches the pink roses. It makes your blog post really stand out.
Roses are a beautiful flower, but my favourites are tulips. I think they look incredible, and I’ve always wanted to go to Holland where they grow rows and rows of tulips in coloured order. The fields look breathtaking. What’s your favourite type of flower?
Good job on starting the Summer Learning Journey, I look forward to seeing all your future blog posts! What activities are you most excited for?
Ka kite anō,
Shannon (SLJ)

ReplyDeleteHello Riley, I’m Amelia from Yaldhurst Model School.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way you made some of these flowers pink. I think it looks astounding!
I once had a tree with roses on it but we had to get it cut down. Have you had roses in your garden before?
To improve, you could probably say why you think that what you coloured in looks nice.
Have you ever planted roses in your garden?
Cya later Riley, keep it up!
